Weights is the list of assets that make up your portfolio, as well as the target weights within the respective sector.

This part is important - it means that you are only defining the weights within each sector, and the absolute weight is calculated automatically✨

Setting the weights

In the image above, you can see that the weights for ☁️ Tech/Cloud are:

• 60% Apple
• 40% Microsoft

That adds up to 100%, but since the Tech/Cloud sector is 21% of the portfolio, the actual absolute weights are actually:

• 12.6% Apple
• 8.4% Microsoft

Adding an asset

In order to add a new asset:

• select the sector from the dropdown
  • if it's missing, add it in Sectors first
• select the ticker from the dropdown
  • if it's missing, add it in the Watchlist first
• select the weight in sector

The company name shows up automatically✨, as well as the absolute weight.
